Serving the Community for Over 50 Years

From the founding of Klafehn, Heise & Johnson over 50 years ago on Main Street in the Village of Brockport (the firm was then called Coapman & Klafehn), the firm has never lost its focus on those small town values which its clients richly treasure. The firm’s mission has always been, and will continue to be, to provide highly professional and personalized legal services to people and businesses in their times of need.

At present, the firm’s offices are located in the historic and beautifully restored Episcopalian Rectory at 109 Main Street in the scenic Village of Brockport. The firm has an open door policy, and clients are always welcome to stop by, whether for business or just to have a cup of coffee and to say hello.

While Klafehn, Heise & Johnson places a strong emphasis on its elder law, estate planning, estate representation and real estate practices, the firm also regularly assists clients with regard to many other types of matters, including landlord/tenant matters, small and medium-sized business representation, contractual matters, corporate formations, employment law matters, debtor/creditor matters, matrimonial and family law matters, personal injury matters and criminal defense. Because the firm maintains a broad and geographically diverse client base, the firm handles matters throughout Western and Central New York State.

Klafehn, Heise & Johnson places great value on community involvement, and our attorneys and employees are involved in their communities in numerous capacities. Additionally, the firm regularly contributes to various community causes.

As a firm grounded in small town values and rooted in the community, Klafehn, Heise & Johnson looks forward to representing you.
